Born in New York City, I started playing guitar in 1960 during the Folk Music Revival. Two journeys to India later, and after making a left hand turn at Madras, I found myself in Perth, Western Australia in 1970. About 6 years ago I picked up the Uke finding it kinder to my old hands and to once again experience the joy of making music with friends. While in Perth I play with the Subiaco Ukulele Free for All (SUFFA) in their amplified rhythm section. Now living in Melbourne, I’ve had the pleasure to play with MUK and the Yarra YUkers.
