BUT, HUF is a little bit different to last year. Hopefully, a little bit better!
There is ONE big Change to last year. We noticed that all the fabulous community groups were performing to very small crowds. The reason being that everyone was in the workshops all day. To solve this problem, the festival will try something new. Saturday the 18th of May is the workshop and Gala Concert day. While Sunday the 19th of May we are going all out with community groups performances, open mics and group strummalongs across 3 different stages.
The Saturday has a $40 pass to do everything and a $20 ticket to just see the Afternoon Concert.
The Sunday is FREE, although we do ask that you make a gold coin donation to Emerald Primary School for the use of their excellent facilities.
We have more Strummalongs and Open Mic opportunities than last year.
The HUF Awards are back on the Sunday, check out the page to get the details.
